„Pinceátlag”, 2019

The name ’Pinceátlag’ means ’cellar average’ and the wine is designed to represent the entry level of the winery. The goal is to produce a good value, easy to understand wine. The nose offers intensive fruit (cherry and currants) with smoky and peppery notes and also a hint of nutmeg. The palate is persistent with fruit aromas, pleasant texture and light structure. A highly drinkable wine. The label shows János Eszterbauer’s great-grandfather in the foreground of the wine-press house in 1930, surrounded by friends tasting the wines of the cellar. A time when the meaning of the spoken word was the same for everybody, when the values were shared and respect for each other was natural…
